The monkey jokingly replied that he would like to ride on the crocodile's back across the river. The crocodile agreed, and the monkey climbed onto his back.

As they were crossing the river, the monkey noticed that the water was very deep and that the crocodile was swimming much faster than he had expected. He became scared and asked the crocodile to let him go. The crocodile refused and explained that he wanted to eat the monkey for helping him.

The monkey quickly thought of a solution and told the crocodile that if he tried to eat him, the other animals would hear his cries and come to his rescue. The crocodile became frightened and released the monkey, who quickly climbed back to safety on the tree.

The grasshopper laughed and said, "Winter? That's a long way off. Why worry about it now? Come and play with me instead."

A Glass of Milk Story with Moral Lesson

A Glass of Milk Story with Moral Lesson

Once upon a time, there was a kind and wise mother who had a son. The son was always asking questions and seeking the meaning behind things.

One day, the son asked his mother, "Why is the world so full of suffering and sadness?"

The mother thought for a moment and then said, "Let me show you." She poured a glass of milk, and then dropped a few drops of ink into it. The milk turned black, and the son looked at it in disappointment.

The mother then said, "Just like this milk, the world is full of both good and bad things. But it's up to us to choose what we focus on. If we focus on the bad, the world will seem dark and unhappy. But if we focus on the good, the world will seem bright and full of joy."

The son thought about this and realized that his mother was right. From that day on, he chose to focus on the good things in life and found that the world was a much happier place.

But the shrub refused to be discouraged and continued to grow taller and stronger every day. One day, a traveler passed through the forest and saw the shrub. The traveler was in need of a needle and saw that the shrub's leaves were perfect for the job.

The other trees were shocked to see the shrub being useful and asked, "How did you become so valuable?"

The shrub replied, "I didn't let your words bring me down. I focused on growing tall and strong, and found my own value and purpose."

When Adversity Knocks Story with Moral Lesson

When Adversity Knocks Story with Moral Lesson

Once upon a time, there was a strong oak tree that stood in a forest. The tree was proud of its strength and beauty, and it felt invincible.

One day, a storm came and knocked down many of the trees in the forest. The oak tree watched in disbelief as its neighbors were felled one by one. When the storm finally passed, the oak tree was the only one left standing.

Feeling proud and relieved, the oak tree boasted to the other trees, "See how strong I am? I withstood the storm while you all fell."

Just then, a small sapling spoke up and said, "Don't be so quick to boast, oak tree. You didn't withstand the storm because you were strong, but because you were rooted deeply in the ground. The wind could not knock you down because your roots kept you firm."

Moral:

It is not just our strength and ability that helps us weather adversity, but also the support and foundation we have in our lives. It's important to cultivate strong relationships and connections in order to face challenges with resilience.

The wise man took a stick and poked it into the ground near the well. After a few minutes, water began to flow out of the ground and fill the well. The farmer was overjoyed and thanked the wise man for his help.

The wise man then said to the farmer, "The well has always been there, but the water was trapped underground. All you needed was to unblock the flow. In life, you must also unblock the flow of your own potential. Don't be afraid to take action and make changes in order to find success and happiness."

Moral:

Our own potential is often trapped within us, but by taking action and making changes, we can unleash it and find success and happiness in life.

The owl thought for a moment and then replied, "The meaning of life is to find your purpose and fulfill it to the best of your abilities."

The birds were satisfied with the answer and flew away. But, a small bird lingered behind and asked, "But how do we find our purpose?"

The owl smiled and said, "Only you can determine your purpose. Look within yourself, listen to your heart, and follow your passions. Life is a journey, and your purpose will reveal itself to you along the way."

Moral:

The key to finding purpose and fulfillment in life is to listen to your heart and follow your passions.

The dog is once again left to wander the streets alone, searching for a new home.

The story is a commentary on the cruelty of poverty and the way it affects the most vulnerable members of society. The dark brown dog is a symbol of the marginalized and oppressed, and its mistreatment at the hands of its former owner and the boy's family represents the way society often fails to take care of those who are in need.

He learns that the treasure he is searching for is not just material wealth, but something far more important and meaningful. Through his experiences, Santiago discovers that the real treasure is the journey itself, and that true fulfillment comes from pursuing one's dreams and following one's heart.

The novel also contains many references to alchemy, an ancient practice that aimed to turn base metals into gold. The alchemist of the title is not a person, but a metaphor for the transformation of Santiago and his quest for personal growth and self-discovery.

One of the main moral of the story is that everyone has their own personal legend, or unique destiny. The Yellow Wallpaper Story

 The Yellow Wallpaper Story

"The Yellow Wallpaper" is a short story by American writer Charlotte Perkins Gilman, first published in 1892. It is a first-person narrative told by a woman who is suffering from postpartum depression and is prescribed a "rest cure" by her physician husband. The story follows the woman's descent into mental illness as she becomes obsessed with the yellow wallpaper in the room where she is confined.

The story is written in the form of a diary that the narrator, a woman, keeps while undergoing treatment for her depression. The narrator and her husband, John, move into a rented mansion for the summer, in an effort to help the narrator recover from her depression. John, a physician, insists that his wife rest and not do any "stimulating" activities, including writing, which she enjoys. The narrator becomes increasingly isolated and begins to develop a fascination with the yellow wallpaper in the room where she is confined. She becomes convinced that there is a woman trapped within the pattern of the wallpaper and becomes increasingly obsessed with freeing her.

The narrator's mental state continues to deteriorate throughout the story and she eventually descends into madness, believing that she is the woman trapped in the wallpaper and must tear it down to escape. The story ends with her tearing down the wallpaper in a frenzied attempt to free the imagined woman, revealing a cracked and peeling wall.

The story is often seen as a commentary on the societal attitude towards women's mental health and the treatment of postpartum depression in the late 19th century. The "rest cure" prescribed by the narrator's husband is similar to the treatments used in real life by physicians of the time, which often involved complete bed rest and isolation from family and friends. Gilman wrote the story as an autobiographical account of her own experiences with depression and the rest cure, and it serves as a powerful critique of the medical establishment's treatment of women's mental health.

In moral perspective, the story could be seen as highlighting the dangers of not taking women's health and mental well-being seriously, and how this can lead to devastating consequences. The story also points out that the societal expectations on women during the late 19th century that limited the scope of their activities and ambitions, which could lead to mental health issues and increasing the need for reflection on these ways of thinking.

The Darling Story With Complete Description and Moral Lesson

The Darling Story With Complete Description and Moral Lesson:

"The Darling" (also known as "The Little Girl") is a short story by Anton Chekhov, a Russian playwright and short story writer. The story is about a woman named Olenka, who is known as "the darling" among her family and friends because of her endearing and loving nature.

The story begins with Olenka living with her father, an old and widowed school teacher. Olenka is content with her life, but she longs for love and companionship. One day, a new schoolteacher named Smirnin arrives in town and Olenka immediately becomes enamored with him. She begins to spend all her time with him, catering to his every need and desire. However, Smirnin becomes bored with Olenka and eventually leaves town, leaving her heartbroken.

After Smirnin leaves, Olenka becomes ill and her father dies. She then moves in with her sister and brother-in-law, who own a pharmacy. Olenka starts to help out in the pharmacy and she meets a new man, an engineer named Pustovalov. Olenka becomes infatuated with Pustovalov, and he quickly becomes the center of her world. However, Pustovalov too leaves Olenka alone and this time, she was left in a misery.

Olenka then becomes a governess to the children of a wealthy landowner, where she meets a third man, a doctor named Cheprakov. Olenka again becomes deeply in love with Cheprakov and caters to his every need. However, Cheprakov eventually leaves her as well, revealing that he is already married and had only used Olenka for his own pleasure.

In the end, Olenka is left alone with nothing but her memories of the men she loved. The story explores themes of love, sacrifice, and the search for meaning and fulfillment in life. The moral lesson from the story is that love and relationships based on sacrifice and idolization ultimately leads to unhappiness and self-abandonment, as well as the caution to not give up ourselves completely for anyone. Olenka's inability to stand for herself, and tendency to become subservient to the men in her life, ultimately led to her own unhappiness and isolation.

The Tell-Tale Heart Story

 The Tell-Tale Heart Story:

"The Tell-Tale Heart" is a short story by Edgar Allan Poe, first published in 1843. It tells the story of an unnamed narrator who is driven to murder an old man with a "vulture eye," who lives with him. The narrator insists that he is not mad and that his reason for killing the old man is because of the man's eye, which makes him uncomfortable.

After committing the murder, the narrator hides the old man's body beneath the floorboards of his house and tries to convince the police, who come to investigate, that he is innocent. However, the narrator's guilt and paranoia drive him to hear a recurring heartbeat, which he believes to be the old man's ghost. This ultimately leads to his confession and arrest.

The story has been interpreted as an exploration of the nature of guilt and the psyche of the criminal. Poe uses the narrator's own words and actions to reveal that he is not only guilty of murder, but also insane. The recurring heartbeat, or the "tell-tale heart," can be seen as a symbol for the narrator's conscience, which ultimately leads to his downfall.

The moral lesson in the story is the impact of guilt and can drive one insane. It also can be seen as a commentary on the dangers of repression and the consequences of giving in to one's darker impulses.
