The Foolish Donkey Story with Moral

The Foolish Donkey Story with Moral

Once upon a time, there was a foolish donkey who lived in a village. The donkey was known for its stubbornness and refusal to listen to others. One day, the donkey was carrying a heavy load of hay on its back, and as it was walking through the village, it stumbled and fell. The hay scattered everywhere, and the donkey was unable to get up.

A group of people came over to help the donkey, but the donkey refused to listen to them. The people tried to push the donkey back on its feet, but the donkey remained stubborn and wouldn't budge. The people eventually gave up and walked away, leaving the donkey lying on the ground.

Just then, a wise old man came along and saw the donkey. He approached the donkey and whispered something in its ear. To the surprise of everyone, the donkey quickly got back on its feet and continued on its way.

The people who had tried to help the donkey were curious and asked the old man what he had said to the donkey. The old man replied, "I simply told the donkey that it was important to listen to those who are trying to help you. If you don't listen, you will remain stuck in the same place and never move forward."

Moral of the story:

It's important to listen to others and accept help when it's offered. Those who refuse to listen and accept help will remain stuck in the same place and never move forward.
